Organi/Softpak and A.T.C/De Maritieme Pint: Work Hard, Play Hard

Organi/Softpak is to become the main sponsor of De Maritieme Pint, the Antwerp Traffic Club’s popular networking event. Through this commitment, the independent software group is emphasising its ongoing focus on the logistics sector and its strong ties to the Antwerp port community.

A pint full of potential: Organi/Softpak supports maritime networking

Organi/Softpak’s commitment to the Antwerp port community is once again underlined by its recent sponsorship agreement with De Maritieme Pint. This accessible bimonthly networking event organised by the Antwerp Traffic Club (A.T.C.) is gaining increasing popularity and interest, and therefore fits perfectly into Organi/Softpak’s marketing strategy.

Partners in a passion for the harbour

Kristof Poulain (Softpak): “We are certainly noticing some changes in the logistics-related software sector, with acquisitions by wealthier international groups and the discontinuation of further development of ERP packages for freight forwarding. We at Organi/Softpak, as an independent software group, wish to focus specifically on our software for freight forwarding, warehousing and customs. To emphasise this, the maritime world’s premier networking event, De Maritieme Pint, is therefore an ideal platform. ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ is certainly a philosophy that is implicitly shared by both partners.”

Marc De Vucht (ATC/Maritieme Pint): “On behalf of the entire A.T.C. board, we would like to thank Organi for becoming our new main sponsor. We only allow one sponsor per sector, so we are delighted that Organi has filled the software slot.”

From 1981 to the present day: A.T.C. continues to connect within the port

The Antwerp Traffic Club was founded in 1981 and has always aimed to promote the port’s image and, through networking events, to foster a more pleasant working relationship between staff and managers in the maritime and logistics sectors.

Since 2011, the A.T.C. vzw has been organising networking evenings under the name ‘De Maritieme Pint’, the only free after-work event in our sector that can only survive thanks to our sponsors. The harbour alderman is always the association’s patron. Marc De Vucht explains:
“As it happens, one of the founding fathers in 1981 was Philippe De Ridder, the father of our former Port Councillor and current Minister for Mobility and Ports, Annick De Ridder.”
