More and more customers are asking about the option to send invoices in XML format. This is a clear trend indicating that electronic invoicing is becoming increasingly important. In this post, we\u2019d like to explain how to do this in Softpak. <\/p>\n

Standard solution<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Softpak offers a range of standard output formats for invoices, including: email, e-billing and XML.<\/p>\n

Go to the Debtor screen<\/strong> (General > Relations > Debtors), and under Invoicing Details<\/strong>, enter \u2018XML\u2019 in the Invoice type<\/strong> field. The system will now send invoices in UBL format, including a PDF attachment. <\/p>\n

Check in advance what an invoice you\u2019ve already created looks like in XML format?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course, you can also check first whether the format looks correct. To do this, go to the relevant invoice. At the top of the toolbar, click on the XML <\/strong>icon. <\/p>\n

This creates an XML file without sending it. The pop-up message shows the file name and location, so it\u2019s easy to find where the file has been saved. <\/p>\n
